Office of Community and Economic Development
Notes From Ish
Spring is in full bloom and our team is hard at work like the bees buzzing around our region. We start this month by providing updates on our digital and financial literacy program in Madera and our disadvantaged business enterprise partnership with CalTrans. We also feature the recent completion of our Chevron-sponsored digital literacy course in Mendota. Winners have been selected this month for the SJV Blueprint Awards. We also check in on one of our alumni who is contributing to critical workforce efforts in Tulare County. Finally, we introduce you to one of our Student Assistants whose talented graphic design skills are adding important value to OCED’s work.
Until next month…
Ismael D. Herrera, Jr.
Interim Executive Director
