Fresno State Small Business University hosts resource training webinars to help small businesses

Fresno State Small Business University hosted the Webinar Small Business Resource Training in an effort to reach out to small rural businesses. The webinar was held since the shelter-at-home order was put in place. 

 

Small Business University has trained 200 small businesses in the past three weeks and partnered with a number of organizations to make the trainings possible. The Small Business Administration, Access Plus Capital, the Small Business Majority, and many other organizations have been key partners in the quest of helping Small Rural Businesses make it through this unprecedented crisis. 

 

An international Fresno State student intern at OCED, Zhaohao Zhang, has been a crucial part of reaching out to small businesses and helping us transition to Webinars. Further, we have Bryan Salcedo, who is a Fresno State alumni working in our team. He has been reaching out to Small Rural Businesses in all of San Joaquin Valley and helped them apply for available resources during this difficult time.
