Small Business Development Center establishes new connections with Financial Capability Forum
The Fresno State Small Business Development Center held a Spanish-speaking Communities Financial Capability Forum on January 30, 2020.
This event opened new doors to both Fresno State initiatives and students. The partnerships made at this event will be beneficial to interns at OCED. Present resources were offered by OCED to connect with potential partners. New resources for both the Community and Fresno State students were also gathered.
Many connections were made and established. OCED was one of the five organizations represented on the panel alongside organizations such as Self Help Federal Credit Union, the Mexican Consulate, Proteus Inc., and the Fresno Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Many other organizations were present at the event such as Wells Fargo, SBA, Opportunity Fund, MCSC Kern Women’s Business Center, Premier Valley Bank, the City of Fresno, and many more organizations dedicated to the economic development of the Valley.
