Our team is very thankful to have started the New Year with two generous funding announcements that
will help expand our work in the San Joaquin Valley. Details are in the stories below. We also opened the
nomination period for one of the region’s premier planning awards contest. Please help us spread the
word. Our team’s support of rural initiatives also continued this month through participation in a
statewide coalition and local grassroots efforts. Read about both below. We also reacquaint you this
month with another OCED Alumni who is making a positive impact in our region. Lastly, don’t forget to
