On July 4th we celebrated the 242nd anniversary of our country's independence. From its inception, our country has always been a producer of innovation, technology and talented, passionate individuals who commit themselves to making their surroundings better. This month we feature one of our region's most innovative communities and its willingness to share its "recipes for success" with its rural neighbors. We also share a recent victory in the battle against the digital divide and how technology has been made accessible to more residents in the San Joaquin Valley. We continue introducing you to the talented, passionate individuals who comprise our team while also launching a new segment this month titled OCED Alumni: Where Are They Now? which showcases former members of the OCED team who now practice their talents elsewhere in service to the San Joaquin Valley.
