McFarland and Sanger Small Business Resource Workshops - June 23rd, 2019
Fresno State via its Small Business University and partners provide technical assistance and various resources to small businesses in the San Joaquin Valley. The initiative specializes in connecting rural communities to needed services and expertise through its network of partners with the goal of advancing rural communities.
Fresno State Small Business University and partners brought Free Small Business Resource Workshops to the City of McFarland and the City of Sanger. These workshops shared available business resources and provided technical assistance to small businesses in the San Joaquin Valley. A panel discussion was comprised of presentations by Fresno State Small Business University, San Joaquin Valley Rural Development Center, City of McFarland, City of Sanger, Greater McFarland Chamber of Commerce, Sanger District Chamber of Commerce, Opportunity Fund, Access+Capital, Small Business Administration, BlueTech Valley, Small Business Development Center at California State University at Bakersfield, Economic Development Agency, Feed the Hunger, Mexican Consulate, and Housing and Opportunity Foundation.
Fresno State Small Business University will bring a Small Business Resource Workshop to every County in the San Joaquin Valley every month. Be on the lookout for the next Small Business Resource Workshop coming to a community near you!
