Fresno State Small Business University Continues to Host Resource Webinars

The Small Business University initiative has continued to host PPP & EIDL Resource Webinars throughout the month. The webinars reach out to small businesses in the San Joaquin Valley that were affected by COVID-19 and are offered in both English and Spanish through partnership with the SBA and the Mexican Consulate.

Over 300 business owners have attended the PPP & EIDL Resource Webinars and over 200 business owners have been helped to apply for some kind of emergency funding to weather this crisis. Also, the webinars have given some Fresno State Alumni the opportunity to take advantage of the Federal, State, and local resources available.

On July 23rd, the Small Business University hosted a Quickbooks Training Webinar that has also been beneficial to small business owners as it allows them to prepare for the PPP Forgiveness application that will be coming up in the next months.

 

The resource webinars continue to promote Fresno State as a key partner in helping the community through this crisis, and it puts Fresno State at the forefront of the battle for survival.
