May 8-10,2019 –The 2019 San Joaquin Valley Blue print Awards were hosted at the 14th Annual San Joaquin Valley Policy Conference in Lemoore at the Tachi Palace Hotel. Opening remarks were led by Kings County Supervisor Joe Neves followed by words from guest speakers State Senator Anna Caballero, State Senator Melissa Hurtado, and Rosa De León Park, Executive Director StanCOG. Some panel topics featured discussed California High-Speed Rail, Washington Perspective, Housing Could be the Next Regional Frontier and Getting Your Share of State Investments Panel. The conference also offered its attendees a bowling tournament and stand up by comedian Paul Rodriguez.
The San Joaquin Valley Blueprint Awards Lunch Award’s Ceremony took place on May 9, 2019, with over 150 attendees, the largest number the awards ceremony has seen yet. The 15th Annual San Joaquin Valley Policy Conference will be hosted in Madera County in 2020.
