OCED Awarded $36,000 to Operate 2020 Census Assistance Centers

Fresno State OCED is a recipient of a $36,000 grant from Fresno County that will support outreach and the facilitation of Questionnaire Assistance Centers and Questionnaire Assistance Kiosks in the Fresno State and Pinedale Communities. The assistance centers and kiosks will be available to provide technical assistance to students and community members. This resource will help students and community members complete their 2020 Census forms on campus. The goal of this program is to count as many people as possible in order to ensure that California residents are properly counted and to ensure that the state is not undercut in federal funding. OCED will offer paid internships to Fresno State Students to operate the Questionnaire Assistance Center and Kiosks.
