Innovation in Ag Irrigation Technology Demonstration and Showcase
On November 16th, Small Business University attended the Innovation in Ag Irrigation Technology Demonstration and Showcase at the Fresno State University Farm Laboratory. At this event, Small Business University provided helpful information regarding services that are offered to small businesses, such as DBE Certification services and the Rural Energy for America program. OCED Student Assistant Austin Reynolds staffed the event booth alongside Small Business University Coordinator Jorg Letkemann.
The Center for Irrigation Technology at Fresno State hosted the second annual Innovations in Ag Irrigation Technology Demonstration and Showcase. At this event, Area farmers observe and learn about water- and energy-saving technologies installed on the 1,000-acre campus farm and meet 30 industry exhibitors.
Small Business Resource Workshop in Orange Cove
On November 19th, Small Business University hosted a Small Business Resource Workshop to the community of Orange Cove. OCED organized the workshop together with the City and Chamber of Commerce. This workshop offered to small businesses in and around Orange cove provided valuable information regarding resources that can support business development. Fourteen people attended the workshop along with the Mayor and City Planner of Orange Cove. Attendees were also invited to sign up for technical assistance from SBU.
