Notes from Eduardo
After 8 years of serving OCED in various capacities, I am eager to continue the amazing work that OCED does to connect Fresno State to the community as it's Interim Executive Director. In this edition, you will find many examples of these connections, including advocacy for the San Joaquin Valley through our work on the California Partnership for the San Joaquin Valley and it's initiatives: The SJVR Broadband Consortium and SJV Housing Collaborative. Our Small Business University Program provided DBE application assistance to local businesses, and our Parent University program recruited local parents for our Digital Literacy courses. Last but not least, this edition will introduce you to one of our newest staff members who makes sure that this newsletter keeps you up-to-date on the many programs and initiatives our office coordinates.
