  • Agriculture Future of America’s nine-member Student Advisory Team toured the Water, Energy and Technology (WET) Lab at California State University, Fresno on 11 June 2013 as part of a visit to California to learn more about West Coast agriculture. More
  • Fresno State's Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences (EES) hosted the 2013 Annual Meeting of the Cordilleran Section of the Geological Society of America on May 20-22 at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in downtown Fresno with associated field trips before (May 18-19) and after (May 23-24) the meeting. More
  • As the home of the International Center for Water Technology (ICWT), the campus is leading the way in water resource management and is encouraging the work of interdisciplinary faculty teams in tackling challenging water issues. More
  • Physics faculty and students participate in research at the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland---research that helped lead to the recent discovery of the Higgs Boson particle. More
  • The CHEM Club has received the American Chemical Society’s Outstanding Chapter Award three years in a row, in part for its active outreach efforts to K-8 students. More
  • A cross-disciplinary team from three colleges is developing a unique STEM Liberal Studies Concentration to empower future elementary teachers in these critical areas. More

Students Host HackFresno, Bringing Innovative Thinkers to the Valley

Fresno State will host 250 students from community colleges and universities from across the nation for HackFresno, a 24-hour collegiate hackathon, running from 6 p.m. April 14 to 9 p.m. April 15 in the North Gym (Room 118).

Clovis Education Program Focuses on High School Students Hoping for Teaching Career
