- David F. Zoldoske, director of the Center for Irrigation Technology at Fresno State, has been named 2013 Person of the Year by the Irrigation Association. More
- Agriculture Future of America’s nine-member Student Advisory Team toured the Water, Energy and Technology (WET) Lab at California State University, Fresno on 11 June 2013 as part of a visit to California to learn more about West Coast agriculture. More
- Fresno State's Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences (EES) hosted the 2013 Annual Meeting of the Cordilleran Section of the Geological Society of America on May 20-22 at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in downtown Fresno with associated field trips before (May 18-19) and after (May 23-24) the meeting. Students Host HackFresno, Bringing Innovative Thinkers to the Valley

Fresno State will host 250 students from community colleges and universities from
across the nation for HackFresno, a 24-hour collegiate hackathon, running from 6 p.m.
April 14 to 9 p.m. April 15 in the North Gym (Room 118).
Clovis Education Program Focuses on High School Students Hoping for Teaching Career
