Undergraduate Learning Communities
Our undergraduate learning communities at Fresno State provide our freshman with a foundation for academic success through the use of cohort classes, the encouragement to build lasting friendships, and dedicated faculty.
Our Academic Bulldogs program is a community for full-time freshman who do not require remediation that are commuting anywhere from 11-60 miles to campus.
Our College of Science & Math First Year Experience program is a community for freshman majoring in either Biology, Chemistry, or Physics who do not require remediation in both English and Math.
Our First Year Experience program is a community for full-time freshman who require remediation in both English and Math and that are first-time, first-generation college students.
Our Native American Scholars program is a community for full-time freshman who identify as having Native American heritage.
Our Residence Blocks program is for residence hall students that are interested in taking a block of 2-3 courses and study groups.
