The Graduate Curriculum Subcommittee meeting was called to order by Chair M. Jones at 1:31 p.m. in McLane Hall, Room 193.

  1. Minutes. The Minutes of 4/9/08 are forthcoming.
  2. Agenda. MSC to approve the Agenda of 4/16/08 as distributed.
  3. Communications and Announcements.
    P. Crosbie announced that a number of course proposals for the PhD joint doctorate in Forensic & Behavioral Sciences are in the process of being reviewed at the college level and will be coming to this committee soon.
    P. English announced that admission to the joint doctorate in Forensic & Behavioral Sciences has been postponed.
  4. Old Business.
    New Graduate Course Request
    Spanish 270 Overview of Hispanic Literature
    The committee requests this proposal be reviewed more thoroughly at the next meeting.

    English 286 Practicum in Literary Publishing
    MSC to approve with minor revisions as requested by the subcommittee.
