The meeting was called to order by Chair Tsukimura at 9:10 a.m. in the
University Center, Room #203.

1. Minutes. MSC to approve the Minutes of 2/21/2008.
2. Agenda. MSC to approve the Agenda as distributed.
3. Communications and Announcements.
   Discussion of the Academic Senate meeting of 2/25/2008. The Student
   Rating System was introduced and questions were addressed by Chair
   Tsukimura and Provost Echeverria. Potential modifications to the policy to
   accommodate the features of the Individual Development & Educational
   Assessment (IDEA) program were also discussed.
4. (APM 361) Policy on Faculty Leaves of Absence.
   Postponed
5. Work Life Issues.
   Postponed.
6. (APM 114) Policy on Faculty Consultation and Voting.
   Postponed.
7. Policy & Procedures for Fingerprinting & Conducting Background Checks.
   Postponed.

MSC to adjourn (11:00 a.m.)

The next scheduled meeting of the Personnel Committee will be Thursday, March
6, 2008 at 9:00 a.m., in the University Center # 203. The entire committee
membership may be reached at the e‑mail alias “perscom”.
