The meeting was called to order by Chair Tsukimura at 9:10 a.m. in the
University Center, Room #203.

1. Minutes. MSC to approve the Minutes of 9/27/2007.
2. Agenda. MSC to approve the Agenda as distributed.
3. Communications and Announcements.
   The Sloan Grant was submitted by J. Redd–Williams.
4. Policy on the Assessment of Teaching Effectiveness (APM 322).
   There was discussion of APM 322 relating to frequency of peer
   evaluations and student ratings.

MSC to adjourn (11:20 a.m.)

The next scheduled meeting of the Personnel Committee will be Thursday,
October 11, 2007 in UC #203. An agenda will be distributed prior to the
meeting. The entire committee membership may be reached at the e–mail alias
“perscom”.
