Members Present: M. Darling, J. Farrar, K. Forbes, D. Harris,
J. Olson–Buchanan, P. Popma, J. Redd–Williams.

Members Absent: B. Tsukimura (Chair)(excused).

Visitors: None.

The meeting was called to order by P. Popma, (acting Chair on behalf of
B. Tsukimura), at 9:20 a.m. in the University Center, Room #203.

1. Minutes. MSC to approve the Minutes of 10/11/2007.
2. Agenda. MSC to approve the Agenda as distributed.
3. Communications and Announcements.
   Social Work has revised its governance document. Copies will be
   distributed and its review will be placed on the agenda for next week.
   Sloan Foundation Survey reached 41%.
4. Policy on the Assessment of Teaching Effectiveness (APM 322).
   Continued discussion of APM 322 relating to the analysis of student
   data.

MSC to adjourn (10:45 a.m.)

The next scheduled meeting of the Personnel Committee will be Thursday,
October 25, 2007 in UC #203. An agenda will be distributed prior to the
meeting. The entire committee membership may be reached at the e–mail alias
“perscom”.
