Members Present: B. Tsukimura (Chair), M. Darling, J. Farrar, K. Forbes,
D. Harris, J. Olson–Buchanan, P. Popma.

Members Absent: J. Redd–Williams (excused), J. Valdes (student).

The meeting was called to order by Chair Tsukimura at 9:15 a.m. in the
University Center, Room #203.

1. Minutes. MSC to approve the Minutes of 11/29/2007 as follows:
   Revise item #3b. The campus collected 60,000 tons of food
   in their food drive.
   List member M. Darling as an excused absence.
2. Agenda. MSC to approve the Agenda as distributed.
3. Communications and Announcements.
   The task force is evaluating the proposals for new student ratings of
   instruction instrument.
4. Policy on the Assessment of Teaching Effectiveness (APM 322).
   Discussion of final edits.
   MSC to approve the Policy on the Assessment of Teaching
   Effectiveness (APM 322) and forward to the Executive
   Committee for approval.

MSC to adjourn (10:50 a.m.)

The next scheduled meeting of the Personnel Committee will be in the Spring of
2008. The entire committee membership may be reached at the e–mail alias
“perscom”.
