The meeting was called to order by Chair Putirka, at 2:10 p.m. in TA #117.

  3. Communications and Announcements.

  4. Program Change Forms.
    Digital Media Option–MSC to approve.
    Media Arts Interdisciplinary Minor –
    MSC to approve.
    Interdisciplinary Health and Rehabilitation Sciences Major –
    MSC to conditionally approve; dept. should see Dr. Nef
    regarding apparent contradiction in the requirements of
    NURS 124.
    Pre–Social Work Policy – Tabled; dept. goals might be more readily obtained
    using model used by PSYCH; dept. will work with Dr. Nef.
  5. New Programs.
    Biomedical Physics –
    MSC to approve.
  6. New Course Proposals.
    OH 104 Greenhouse & Nursery Crop Production –
    MSC to conditionally approve, pending a change from
    “Course Objectives” to “Learning Outcomes”
    and added detail to the syllabus.
    ECON 120 Women in the Economy – MSC to approve.
  7. Course Change Proposals.
    College of Arts and Humanities
    ART 107 2D Computer Art and Animation Title, Prerequisites, Description
    MSC to approve, pending added detail to course description.
    ART 117 3D Computer Art and Animation – Title, Prerequisites, Description
    MSC to approve, pending addition of Honor Code to syllabus.
    LING 11 Linguistics for Teachers Title, Description
    MSC to approve.
