Visitors: C. Torgerson (Associate Dean, Kremen School of Education).

The formal meeting was called to order by Chair Schreiber at 2:15 p.m. in the University Center, Room #203.

  1. Minutes. Approval of the Minutes of 10/9/08.
  2. Agenda. MSC to approve the Agenda as amended to include an
    Executive Session as new item 4 and Subcommittee
    Appointments as new item 5. Subsequent agenda items
    to be renumbered accordingly.
  3. Communications and Announcements.
    Received: Interim Policy on Intellectual Property.
  4. Executive Session (2:25-2:27).
  5. Subcommittee Appointments.
    MSC to appoint the following:
    S. Sivek to Writing Competency Sub-Committee
  6. (APM 225) Teacher Education Policy.
    The policy was discussed with C. Torgerson.
  7. (APM 220) Interim Policy on the Procedures and Guidelines for the Periodic
    Review of Academic Programs.
    Postponed.
  8. (APM 231) Interim Policy on Adding and Dropping Classes.
    Postponed.
  9. (APM 233) Policy of Repeating Classes.
    Postponed.
  10. (APM 235) Policy on Cheating and Plagiarism.
    Postponed.
  11. (APM 236) Honor Code of Academic Integrity.
    Postponed.
