K. Miller, S. Lewis.
Members Absent: D. Nef (excused), S. Adisasmito-Smith,
M. Calvarese (excused).
The meeting was called to order by Chair Lawson at 11:25 a.m. in
University Center, room #203.
- Minutes. MSC to approve the Minutes of 5/02/2008.
- Agenda. MSC to approve the Agenda.
- Communications and Announcements.
- Provost Echeverria has announced that a focus for her office this
year will be enforcement of the General Education (GE) policy.
- Provost Echeverria has announced that a focus for her office this
- Program Review Recommendations.
- The committee discussed the outside review committees report
including what resources may be required in order to achieve the
recommendations in the report. - Discussion of enforcement of GE policy as requested by Provost
Echeverria included the policy for Area A3 to have “one hour of the
final exam in Critical Thinking courses shall consist of questions
from the test bank compiled by the coordinating committee” and
how best to proceed with enforcement.

- 2008/2009 Goals.
