Members Present: B. Tsukimura (Chair), M. Darling, J. Farrar, D. Harris,
J. Olson-Buchanan, P. Popma, H. Shen.

Members Absent: J. Redd-Williams (excused), B. Sodini (student)(excused).

The meeting was called to order by Chair B. Tsukimura at 9:15 a.m. in the University
Center # 203.

1. Minutes. MSC to approve the Minutes of 4/2/2009.
2. Agenda. MSC to approve the Agenda as distributed.
3. Communications and Announcements.
   1. Executive Committee has received comments on (APM 322) Policy on the
      Assessment of Teaching Effectiveness from the Senate subcommittees.
   2. Senators received a copy of CFA report on Student Ratings of Teaching
      from State Senator, Jacinta Amaral.
   3. The committee received the Personnel Calendar for AY 2009-2010.
4. Policy and Procedures for Fingerprinting and Conducting Background
   Checks.
   Discussed the policy.

MSC to adjourn at 10:50 a.m.

The next scheduled meeting of the Personnel Committee will be on Thursday, April
23, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. in the University Center #203.
