The meeting was called to order by Chair B. Tsukimura at 9:10 a.m. in the University
Center # 203.

1. Minutes. MSC to approve the Minutes of 11/6/08.
2. Agenda. MSC to approve the Agenda as amended:
   Insert new item #4 “Selection of member for Provost’s 5 year review” and renumber
   subsequent items accordingly.
3. Communications and Announcements.
   Executive Session — Personnel issues.
4. Selection of members for Provost’s 5 year review.
   Gary Gilroy — Music Department
   John Hales — (Alternate) English Department
5. (APM 322) – Policy on Teaching Effectiveness.
   Discussion.
6. Policy and Procedures for Fingerprinting and Conducting Background Checks.
   Postponed.

MSC to adjourn at 10:55 a.m.
