Members Present: B. Tsukimura (Chair), M. Darling, J. Farrar, D. Harris,
J. Olson-Buchanan, J. Redd-Williams, H. Shen.

Members Absent: P. Popma (excused).

The meeting was called to order by Chair B. Tsukimura at 9:15 a.m. in the
University Center # 203.

1. Minutes. MSC to approve the Minutes of 11/13/08.
   MSC to amend the Minutes of 11/6/08 as follows:
   Correct item # 3d to read “APM 330 passed in the Senate and has been
   submitted to the President for signature.”
2. Agenda. MSC to approve the Agenda as distributed.
3. Communications and Announcements.
   Post Promotion Increase (PPI) process dictates the election for an
   appeals process starting February 1, 2009.
4. (APM 322) – Policy on Teaching Effectiveness.
   Discussion.
5. Policy and Procedures for Fingerprinting and Conducting Background
   Checks.
   Postponed.

MSC to adjourn at 10:55 a.m.

The next scheduled meeting of the Personnel Committee will be Thursday,
December 4, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. in the University Center # 203.
