Members Present: B. Tsukimura (Chair), M. Darling, J. Farrar, D. Harris,
J. Olson-Buchanan, P. Popma, J. Redd-Williams, H. Shen.

Members Absent: None.

The meeting was called to order by Chair B. Tsukimura at 9:15 a.m. in the
University Center # 203.

1. Minutes. MSC to approve the Minutes of 11/20/08.
2. Agenda. MSC to approve the Agenda as distributed.
3. Communications and Announcements.
   None.
4. Removal of outdated policies - APM 329 Policy on Faculty Merit Increase.
   MSC to recommend removal of (APM 329) from the Academic Policy
   Manual and forward to the Executive Committee for review.
   (This policy is no longer used in the Collective Bargaining
   Agreement.)
5. (APM 322) – Policy on Teaching Effectiveness.
   Discussion.
6. Policy and Procedures for Fingerprinting and Conducting Background
   Checks.
   Postponed.

MSC to adjourn at 10:55 a.m.

The next scheduled meeting of the Personnel Committee will be in the Spring 2009
semester.
