Members Present: R. Perry (Chair), N. Bengiamin, D. Kemp, R. Kuhn,
J. Daughtry, M. Nogin.

Members Absent: S. Kotkin-Jaszi (excused), D. Dickerson (excused).

The meeting was called to order by Chair R. Perry at 9:05 a.m., in PHS
#129.

  1. Minutes. MSC to approve the Minutes of November 20, 2008 as
    amended:
    R. Kuhn was present, but not listed on the minutes.
  2. Agenda. MSC to approve the Agenda as amended:
    Natural Sciences is the new business.
  3. Communications and Announcements.
    1. We will try to have a meeting on Thursday, December 18, 2008,
      at 9:00 am, in PHS #129. It will be to discuss coordinating
      program reviews with accreditation reviews for the degree
      programs that are currently subject to both. D. Nef and the
      committee want to accommodate those who have to prepare two
      different reports, to determine when and if the accreditation
      report can substitute for the CSU program review report.
    2. Chair R. Perry asked whether the committee would meet for an
      extended period in order to cover more program reviews before the
      end of the semester. The committee will not meet for an
      extended time this semester.
  4. Old Business.
    Interdisciplinary Health & Rehabilitative Sciences report was
    approved.
    Communicative Disorders & Deaf Studies review was completed and
    report was approved.
  5. New Business.
    Natural Sciences review was begun.

MSC to adjourn, 10:05 a.m.

The next scheduled meeting of the Undergraduate Academic Program
Review Subcommittee will be Thursday, December 11, at 9:00 a.m., in
Thomas Administration #117.
