The meeting was called to order at 9:05 a.m. by Chair K. Putirka in the University Center, Room #203.

  1. Minutes. MSC to approve the Minutes of 2/3/2009.

  2. Agenda. MSC to approve the Agenda as distributed.

  3. Communications and Announcements.

    None.

  4. Registration Hold for Upper Division Writing Exam (GWAR) –Discussion.

    Discussion took place regarding academic holds. There was no recommendation for holds at this time. To be continued at the next meeting.

MSC to adjourn at 10:00 a.m.

The next scheduled meeting of the Writing Competency Subcommittee will be announced.
