The formal meeting was called to order by Chair F. Schreiber at 2:20 p.m. in Thomas Administration #117.

  1. Minutes. MSC to approve the Minutes of September 24, 2009.

  2. Agenda. MSC to approve the Agenda as amended:

    Add new item #4, “Subcommittee Appointment-Undergraduate Academic Program Review”, and renumber the remaining items accordingly.

  3. Communications and Announcements.

    None.

  4. Subcommittee Appointment-Undergraduate Academic Program Review.

    MSC to appoint Jody Daughtry to the Undergraduate Academic Program Review Subcommittee.

  5. Library Subcommittee Resolution – 2:30 p.m. Time Certain.

    MSC to approve “A Resolution in Support of the Madden Library’s Materials Budget”, and forward to the Executive Committee for review.

  6. (APM 220) Interim Policy on the Procedures and Guidelines for the Periodic Review of Academic Programs.

    MSC to approve revisions to (APM 220) Policy on the Procedures and Guidelines for the Periodic Review of Academic Programs and forward to the Executive Committee for review.

  7. (APM 338) Policy on Office Hours.

    Postponed.

  8. (APM 540) Interim Policy on Intellectual Property.

    Postponed.

  9. (APM 225) Teacher Education Policy.

    Postponed.

  10. (APM 233) Policy on Repeating Classes.
