The meeting was called to order by Chair B. Tsukimura at 9:15 a.m. in Thomas Administration #117.

  1. Minutes. MSC to approve the Minutes of 10/22/2009 as amended:

  2. Agenda. MSC to approve the Agenda as amended to show:

    Add: 4. Revisit (APM 325) Policy on Retention & Tenure.

  3. Communications and Announcements.

    1. Request to meet with Dr. M. Botwin to discuss the revision of (APM 322) Policy on the Assessment of Teaching Effectiveness will be on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 9:00 a.m.
    2. CSU has given CFA notice that there is a possibility of layoffs for Fall 2010.
    3. Revisit sabbatical policy to include updated information about application forms.

  4. (APM 325) Policy on Retention and Tenure – Revisit.

    Discussion of how to implement the proposed revision of APM 325.

  5. (APM 324A) Sample Probationary Plan.

    Discussed.
