Members Present: R. Perry (Chair), N. Bengiamin, T. Hasan Johnson, D. Kemp, R. Kuhn.

Members Absent: J. Daughtry (excused), S. Kotkin-Jaszi (excused), D. Nef (excused), M. Nogin (excused).

The meeting was called to order by Chair R. Perry at 10:10 a.m. in the Henry Madden Library Conference Room #4168.

  1. Minutes. MSC to approve the Minutes of 10/22/2009 as amended:

    T. Hasan-Johnson was changed to T. Hasan Johnson.

  2. Agenda. MSC to approve the Agenda as amended:

    Bachelor of Science degrees in Geography and Philosophy were changed to Bachelor of Arts degrees.

  3. Communications and Announcements.

    1. Jonathon Thompson was introduced as the new student representative on the subcommittee.
    2. Program review materials for Women’s Studies were distributed.

  4. Old Business.

    Draft report for Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography was approved with minor modifications.

  5. New Business.

    Review of Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy was completed.

MSC to adjourn at 11:30 a.m.

The next scheduled meeting of the Undergraduate Academic Program Review Subcommittee will be Thursday, November 19, 2009 @ 10:00 a.m. in Henry Madden Library Room #4168.
