The meeting was called to order by Chair Popma at 9:05 a.m. in Thomas #117.
1. Minutes. MSC to approve the Minutes of 1/27/11.
2. Agenda. MSC to approve the Agenda as distributed.
3. Communications and Announcements.
A. APM 325 (Interim Policy on Fingerprinting and Conducting Background
Checks) has been forwarded from the Senate Executive Committee to the
Senate.
B. Michael Caldwell, Senate Chair, will meet with the Personnel Committee
at its Feb. 10, 2011 meeting.
4. Review policy on Promotion (APM327)
Discussed further revisions to APM 327.
5. Final Review of Policy on Retention and Tenure (APM 325)
Review postponed.
6. Develop template for departments to use when implementing IDEA student
ratings process.
Postponed until meeting on Feb. 10 with Michael Caldwell.
