PROGRAM PROPOSALS:
Photojournalism Option under Mass Communication and Journalism- M.S.C to Approve.
Art Credential Program- Tabled- Program proposal needs “course justifications” For ART 116, ART 153, ART 170.
Co-Curricula Leadership Certificate Consultation- the Committee was consulted regarding the status of the Leadership Certificate. The Certificate currently looks like a “Certificate of Completion” and with additional coursework would evolve to a “Certificate of Advanced Study.”
NEW COURSE PROPOSALS:
CRIM 110 Police in America- second read- M.S.C to approve pending changes.
Delete first phrase of the course description, provide additional details on the writing assignment, course schedule is thin and without detail, and please look at the syllabus template model to make sure all policy statements are included.
ART 80 Beginning 3-D Digital Art – Modeling- M.S.C. to approve pending course justification.
