Dear Campus Community,
I’m pleased to share that Fresno State successfully submitted our self-study to the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) at the end of the summer, and we are now preparing to welcome the WSCUC review team to campus from October 8–10, 2025.
Visit our Reaccreditation Website.
We have earned the privilege of joining the Thematic Pathway for reaccreditation—an option granted only to select, high-performing institutions. Our theme, “Flagship of the Central Valley,” invites us to reflect on—and showcase—how Fresno State elevates the region through transformative education, meaningful research, civic engagement, and impactful leadership.
During the site visit, the review team will host open forums with faculty, staff, and students and provide a feedback channel for written comments. We will be providing additional details on how to get involved in the coming weeks.
Here's how you can help:
- Explore the self-study and thematic pathway report available online- and think about how the theme ‘Flagship of the Valley’ relates to your story
- Attend an open forum and share your perspectives
- Check the accreditation website for the latest updates.
Let’s showcase the strength, innovation, and dedication that define the Flagship of the Valley!
Go ‘Dogs!
