The Research, Scholarship and Creative Activities (RSCA) program provides $5,000 competitive awards annually, primarily for release time or summer pay. One of many selection criteria for these awards is the likelihood that they will lead to successful grants.
The Claude C. Laval Jr. Award for Innovative Technology & Research Award was established in 1984 in honor of Mr. Claude C. Laval Jr., a long-time resident of Fresno and a productive inventor. The award has supported the development of innovative technology and related research at California State University, Fresno.
