2026 CCRS Updates

Thank you to all of our student presenters, moderators, judges and attendees who made the 47th Annual Central California Research Symposium a great success! The event highlighted Research Week 2026 and drew more than 300 attendees on April 22. We look forward to seeing you all next year for the 48th annual CCRS! Plan ahead for CCRS 2027!

It's never too early to start thinking about CCRS 2027, which will be held again as part of Research Week in April 2027. The Call for Abstracts will be available in October 2026. Any questions, please contact us at rsp-events@mail.fresnostate.edu or call our office at (559) 278-0840.

Research Week 2026 info

The purpose of the Symposium is to share recent research with community investigators in various fields, college students, and faculty as well as to encourage research activities in the Central Valley.

All fields of research will be considered for presentation to exchange further ideas among investigators and the general public. All individuals, including faculty, residents, graduate and undergraduate students are encouraged to submit abstracts.

Authors of papers entered in the student competition must be sponsored by a faculty member. Your google submission will be routed to your faculty mentor for approval.

In order to participate in sessions, participants must confirm their invitation to present. Presenters who do not confirm will not be scheduled.

If a first author chooses to withdraw his or her abstract for any reason, a request must be submitted to rsp-events@mail.fresnostate.edu.
