Program Review of CGE and Interdisciplinary Studies Programs

Undergraduate degree programs offered through the Division of Continuing Education and the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Studies are required to undergo a program review every five years beginning on the fifth year after the program effective date as approved via the Chancellor’s Office or when the program is offered and in the Catalog, whichever is later.

The individual coordinating the degree (hereinafter referred to as the Coordinator) serves as the lead for the program review process. The Coordinator may designate another faculty teaching in the program to serve as the lead for the program review process. The Coordinator (or designee) may delegate the work associated with the program review process to others affiliated with both the degree and Fresno State. The Coordinator (or designee) must follow the program review guidelines as appropriate for accredited or non-accredited programs as outlined in the procedures and guidelines for review of academic programs.

  • Two members who are outside of the Coordinator’s (or designee’s) College, but internal to the university. Preference should be given to those with subject matter expertise to the degree under program review.
  • Anyone who is currently teaching a course with a student enrolled in the program under review is not allowed to serve on the program review site visit team.

The Agenda for the site visit team will consist of the following meetings/tours (as appropriate):
