Academic Resources

The Academic Resources Office provides policies, procedures, and assistance regarding budgetary matters.  This includes, but is not limited to, Academic Affairs Level B Budget, Faculty Recruitment and Moving Expenses, Instructionally Related Activities (IRA), and Provost's Funding Commitments. 

Faculty Recruitment Guidelines and Procedures

Funding Commitments

Requests for funding commitments should be directed to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs or to the Vice Provost. Requests should include the name of the project, amount requested, and the purpose of funding and can be submitted via e-mail or memorandum. Once the requestor receives approval and ARO is notified, forward all documentation, such as travel applications, requisitions, and student assistant vouchers to ARO, M/S ML 54. ARO will issue an account code and route document(s) to the appropriate office for further processing.
