Advancement to Candidacy Filing Deadline: Last day to apply for advancement to candidacy to be eligible for graduation the following term. Advancement must be achieved no later than one semester prior to the term in which you wish to register for the culminating experience and/or apply for the degree to be granted. Graduation Application Period: The online filing period for the graduate degree to be granted is approximately the first two weeks of each semester or summer. A $35.00 non-refundable graduation application fee is required. Graduation application procedures are available on the Division of Graduate Studies website. Final Thesis (299) Submission Deadline: Date by which final thesis, fully edited and approved, must be submitted to the Dissertation/Thesis Office.	June 13, 2025	October 31, 2025	March 27, 2026
Project (298)	Your department will assign a deadline and provide project procedures.
Comprehensive Exam	Contact your department for the test date and exam procedures.
Completion of Academic Work: All courses and requirements must be completed. All paperwork must be submitted to your graduate adviser or department office for processing. Contact your adviser or department concerning the submission of the required Graduate Degree Clearance form.	August 15, 2025 (final day of instruction)	December 10, 2025 (final day of instruction)	May 6, 2026 (final day of instruction)
Departmental Clearance and Paperwork Deadline: Graduate Degree Clearance forms are due in the Division of Graduate Studies, on behalf of all graduating students. Grade reports for all "I", "RD", and "RP" graded courses (other than thesis and project) must be on file with the Academic Records Office. Last day to submit paperwork to the Division of Graduate Studies for graduating students.	August 15, 2025	December 22, 2025	May 22, 2026
