Career Opportunities
Programs for Children offers employment positions working with children in the classroom and support positions such as providing support in the reception area or working in the nutrition program.
Non-students may check for employment opportunities by going to the CSU Fresno Auxiliary Employment Opportunities page. Applications should be completed electronically and submitted to Auxiliary Human Resources. Completed applications will be forwarded to Programs for Children administrators.
Student Job Opportunities
Programs for Children offers employment positions working with children in the classroom and support positions such as providing support in the reception area or working in the nutrition program.
Fresno State students who are interested in working in the centers may pick up an application at any of the centers. The program offers classroom positions, (regular positions and substitute positions; 6+ child development units and Child Development/Liberal Studies majors preferred), office assistant positions, and kitchen assistant positions. Applications for these positions may be submitted at any of the centers. Location of the centers can be found on the campus map.
Student Hire Packet
After you have met with the site director and have been hired with Programs for Children, please print, complete, and bring to the center the following forms:
- Student Job Description (this is for your reference)
- Health Screening Report
- Criminal Record Statement
- Mandated Reporter Form
- Employee Rights
- Drug Free Program
