I write to approve the amendments to APM 215 General Eduation Assessment Procedures as approved by the Senate Executive Committee on March 16, 2020 on behalf of the Academic Senate and forwarded to Provost Jimenez-Sandoval on March 27, 2020.

Attached is an amended version of ApM 215 for your approval. The amendments were approved by the senate Executive committee on March 16, 2020,on behalf of the Academic Senate. AP.ld 127 givesthe Executive Committee the authority to act on behalf of the entire Academic Senate when circumstances make it difficult or dangerous to convene a full senate meeting. We are currently in such a time.
The amendments to APM 275 are relatively minor.and were recommended by our director of assessment, Dr. Melissa Jordine, in order to make our policy fully consistent with other policies and practices as we prepare for a mid-cycle review by WASC.
