Our Programs

Richter Center Ambassadors training at CSU Los Angeles

The programs of the Richter Center have one goal in common – to provide students with service opportunities that enrich both their educational experience and their personal and professional growth.  The Jumpstart Program and Read Fresno at Fresno State are literacy-based programs that employ Fresno State work-study students as tutors in pre-schools, elementary schools, and after-school programs serving the Fresno area.  Students in these programs earn money for school and gain experience in an educational setting while serving children and families in our community.  The Richter Center Student Leadership Program provides students who embody a passion for service with leadership opportunities and the chance to serve their peers.
